GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION
CASTING CALL
– 10 males (8 Chinese Malaysians & 2 Caucasian Malaysians)
– 2 females (Chinese Malaysians)
REQUIREMENT
– Able to act, sing and dance
– Age between 20s – 50s
– Proficient in Mandarin for Chinese candidate
– Proficient in English for Caucasian candidate
Preparation:
Option A
– A one-minute monologue. Mandarin for Chinese candidate & English for Caucasian candidate
– Two original songs from the musical:
> Song 1 “Enough is Enough” for Chinese candidate
> Song 2 “Break the Chains” for Chinese candidate
> Song 3 “The Campaign” for Caucasian candidate and one additional song to be chosen from song 1 or 2
– A one-minute monologue (Mandarin for Chinese candidate & English for Caucasian candidate)
– Two Chinese songs (one ballad and one lively number) for Chinese cast
– Two English songs (one ballad and one lively number) for Caucasian cast Songs are to be sung from memory, accompanied by backing tracks from your mobile
