Chris Grady Organisation is a theatremaking and consulting company led by Chris Grady and Kath Burlinson, based in Edinburgh and London.

Kath is a freelance theatre director and founder of the Authentic Artist Collective. She also works as a global communications coach for business leaders.

Chris is a freelance lecturer, arts management consultant, marketing and project manager. He was previously Head of International Licensing for Cameron Mackintosh, ran Buxton Opera House, general managed Pleasance Theatres in London and Edinburgh, and was head of marketing for Edinburgh International Festival and Plymouth Theatre Royal.

He has 30 years of experience in the development of new musical theatre, creating the first global quest for new musicals, running the annual Vivian Ellis Prize for new writing, serving on the judging panel of National Alliance of Musical Theatre New York, founding MTM:UK, establishing the first Musical Theatre Awards and creating Musical Theatre @ George Square at the Edinburgh Festival.

Chris established the MA in Creative Producing at Mountview Academy of Theatre in London. The course currently trains theatre producers from the USA, Europe and Asia. He also leads the London based Producers’ Pool network and leads masterclasses, coaching surgeries and panel discussions on all aspects of theatre and musical theatre management.
