Soo Suan was the winner of the Boh Cameronian Best musical actress award for her lead role in Empress Wu - The Musical and the best vocalist award for her performance in the musical concert Fragrance Of The Night. She is also the resident vocalist in Dama and the vocal coach for Dama’s musical theatre and musical concert productions. A National Grand Champion in Classical Singing in Malaysia, Soo Suan has sung in Haydn's Oratorio – Seasons, and in Beethoven Symphony No. 9, with the Penang State Orchestra and Choir. She has performed in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Canada and the USA. Her stage credits include Empress Wu, Larger Than Life – West End & Broadway, I Have A Date With Spring, Butterfly Lovers, Yours Musically, The Songs In Me, The Legends, The Moon Speaks For My Heart, In Perfect Harmony, Glitz & Glamour, September Tale, Memories, A Musical Sojourn, In The Imperial Garden, Portrait Of A Songstress, La Cabaret Shanghai, The Greatest Gift and Spring Kisses Lover’s Tear. Her album recordings include Memories, Fragrance of The Night, September Tale and The Moon Speak For My Heart. Her rendition of Eternally was featured in Tsai Ming-Liang's film, I Don't Want To Sleep Alone, premiered at the Venice International Film Festival 2006.
